Better Watch Page improves Youtube's "Watch" (video) pages with a variety of features and options including a right-side description, older video player, style improvements, and more.

You'll need the latest version of Firefox or Chrome. Chrome users need to install Tampermonkey before installing Better Watch Page.

Please post in the "discussions" section if you find any bugs or you would like to make suggestions or requests. If Better Watch Page doesn't work with another Youtube script you use let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Features and Settings

- Description panel moved to the right of the video and styled in its previous style, with the channel avatar, subscribe button, and metadata.
- Center the page! Being stuck on the left is silly. (Plus many other style changes to improve the Youtube design)
- Choose an older video player style, choose the player colour, or stick with the defaults - screenshot
- Remove the "Guide" (optional)
- Choose where to view the "like/dislike" bar or replace it with "Star Ratings"
- Choose to auto-collapse "Suggestions" and any of the comment sections (Uploader, Top, Video Responses, All Comments)
- ... and more!

2013.05.16 - Fixed style/position issues due to Youtube updates.
2013.05.12 - Fixed style/position issues with playlists due to Youtube updates. Fixed sidebar padding on Vevo videos.
2013.04.19 - Fixed style/position issues due to Youtube updates, including playlist and page positions and subscription button.
2013.03.21 - Fixed crash due to Youtube update. Centred the player when expanded.
2013.02.04.2 - Fixed language strings.
2013.02.04 - Added expand player button for Player 3. Fixed language detection. Fixed incompatibility with YTshowRating addon. Fixed 'guide' not showing.
2013.01.24 - Re-styled many things to be closer to previous versions of BWP and 2009 Youtube, and to fix style bugs. Moved like/dislike bar to the like/dislike buttons. Comments sections are now collapsible again and settings have been re-added to auto-collapse those sections.
2012.12.22 - Fixed broken header when in playlist mode.
