This script works well and I am aware the author uploaded this script for himself and decided to share it, but I will be blunt in this review just to help users see how it differs from the original script and KG-IMDB.

Subscene search is a nice addition, and removing redundant code is always good, that probably isn't swaying most users over KG-IMDB.

The favicons are next to the movie title in this script, as with "IMDb DirectSearch fixed", only KG-IMDB has it alongside the title. Preference in this comes down to users tastes.

I give this a lower rating solely based on seeing little reason to use this over KG-IMDB.

I do commend the author on fixing the favicons though, but I'm a big fan of contacting the original authors and sending them fixes so that they can implement them themselves.
