I wonder why didn't anyone ever tried to make this before?
The idea is great but the problems which should be solved are even greater.
The script needs to be customised for every new image host (lots of them).
Maybe a Firefox plugin (not a script) with user-customization would be better.
Here is a small list of image hosts, which are not supported by script (on embedded previews):
http://you-logo.ru
http://radikal.ru/ (top side of scaled-down image is glued to tabs bar, pressing shift shows lower part of big image and upper part is invisible under tabs -> need to move mouse over image)
http://sasisa.ru (not an image host but interesting example of loading big pictures in new window - not in tab)
http://firepic.org/
http://imagelike.org
http://rupix.org
http://mypict.org
http://lostpic.net
http://picsee.net
http://ipic.lv/
http://twinpix.nu
Embedded links like this:
http://epidemz.net/go?a%3AaHR0cDovL2xvc3RwaWMub...
are another problem.
One more thing: does it work in RSS? I checked on several rss-feeds with embedded previews, no result.
Nevertheless I must say the author made one step closer to user-friendly browsing (;
Thank you!
Works great. Saves time clicking useless small thumbs.
Only thing I could think that could make this better is a option to add, in milliseconds, how long it would take onmouseover to pop-up the image.
This script saves a lot of time and is perfect for surfing porn. Cheers!
...script on the whole site, I'm not exaggerating.

I love it. I can't live without it.
great support too. Thanks
It works perfectly on both Firefox and Chrome, replacing the need of additional extensions such as Thumbnail Zoom Plus, which have a larger footprint.
Plus, the script author is very active and helpful. This is how all user scripts should be mantained. Great job and rock on!
It works. Download it. Use it. Enjoy it.
This is probably the most useful script I have installed, certainly the best global script, in several years of using Greasemonkey.
I love how it finds images to blow up all over the place, some people might be annoyed but I like the surprise. And of course I like it when it finds the images on whatever site I am looking for them.
The only glaring omission is the ability to start zooming just by mouse wheel scroll. Who wants to use 2 hands? (With my Firefox, right click always brings up the context menu, your script does not prevent it). With my feeble javascript skills I was able to fix that (mouse scroll -> zoom), so I'm sure it's intentional on your part, but I don't see it causing any problem. I will post some other suggestions in the "discussions".
I'm sorry I find something to complain about with everything, but I really appreciate this great script!
Thanks, works wonderfully :) The settings menu is very helpful too, allowing to change the hover delay, etc.
I just installed and tried it, and it works great! :D Thanks! :)
